| We are now offering guitar lessons in the shop (during regular business hours)! We're open Mon - Sat 10 - 6, Sun 12 - 6 We will be working with professional instructors from the Seattle area who will teach out of our store in Pioneer Square. So if you're a beginner, intermediate or pro player, come on down and get schooled on the guitar. Please contact each instructor personally to set up appointments.
Instructors:
Michael Green - Beginning to advanced.
Michael has been teaching guitar for 20 years and is now giving lessons at Emerald City Guitars. Michael has been a musician and teacher since 1985 in Seattle and still plays in local bands. He is the founder of Blimp Kitty Records and is a former member of NARAS (the Grammy Nominating Committee). Michael teaches his students what they want to play - and you don't need to learn how to read music!!
Lessons are available at Emerald City Guitars monday through thursday from 10am to 2pm. Rates are $40 an hour (no half hours) and Michael supplies all the written materials and CD's for the student.
