Where is Emerald City Guitars?

We are located in the heart of the historic district of Seattle known as “Pioneer Square”. The shop is 1/2 block west of 1st Ave on South Washington St. Our physical address is 83 South Washington St., Seattle, WA 98104 phone # 206-382-0231

What are your store hours?

We are currently open by appointment only Monday through Saturday 10am to 4pm. We are closed on Sundays. Schedule an appointment by phone during business hours at 206.382.0231.

What about parking?

There are parking meters throughout downtown. Often there are available spots within a block or less of our door. There are also parking garages and lots very nearby with rates starting as low as $0.50 per hour. Please see DownTownSeattleParking.com for more information and a detailed map.

What is your return policy? Guitar & Amp Sales

We offer a 72 hr approval on all guitar & amps (unless otherwise noted). Customer pays all shipping & insurance costs both ways unless otherwise negotiated by sales staff. Before returning any item, customers must call for a return authorization. Returned items must be in the same condition as when they left the store. Unauthorized returns will be refused & returned at customer expense. Returned items are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Accessory Sales

All accessories may be returned within 7 days of purchase for exchange or credit. Items in opened or destroyed packaging are not returnable. Before returning any item, customer must call for a return authorization. Returned items must be in the same condition as when they left the store. Unauthorized returns will be refused & returned at customer expense. Returned items will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Do you do special orders?

Yes. A 50% non-returnable deposit is required on all special order or non-stocked items. No returns or exchanges on special order or non-stocked items

Do you do offer layaways?

Yes. 30 day layaways are available with a 25% deposit. Deposits on layaway items are non-refundable, but may be used for store credit.

What are your accepted payment methods?

We accept cash, money orders, cashier’s checks, M/C, Visa, Discover, wire transfer, or Paypal.

Do you buy guitars? What about trade-ins and consignments?

Yes. We Buy Guitars!

We pay top dollar for used and vintage instruments of all kinds, including guitars, amps, effects, keyboards, microphones, etc.

Trade-in’s are always welcome at Emerald City Guitars. Whether you want to trade up, over, or down, we promise we will treat you right!

Do you do appraisals?

Yes. Emerald City Guitars offers certified written appraisals for insurance purposes, or for your personal needs.
