The Gibson Advanced Jumbo is one of Gibson's more elusive offerings, featuring a long scale and an Amazon Rosewood body. This '37 example plays incredibly well and delivers an immaculate sound with a super-rich mid-range, tight low end, and a sweet high-end shimmer. The bridge was slightly thinned from the top, the lower legs of the X-brace were carefully scalloped, and it has a complete overspray, along with a replaced fingerboard and headstock veneer. While the history may place it just outside strict collector territory, we’re confident this guitar will keep you coming back for more. It’s a stellar instrument. Includes original hardshell case.
