This wonderful 1950s 16″ Gibson archtop features a beautiful solid carved Spruce top! It plays great with comfortable action and is in very good, structurally solid condition with some cosmetic wear and a repaired top crack near the lower f-hole. Other modifications include replaced tuners, a swapped bridge, 1st fret inlay, tailpiece hanger, added strap button at the neck heel, and it was re-fretted and fitted with an internal K&K pickup. This guitar sounds excellent and produces a clear, punchy sound with a beautiful warmth that is perfect for Jazz and Folk styles! Includes hardshell case.
