1953 Fender Esquire with "10-27-53" Gloria tape, and a "10-53" Neck date. This guitar is lightweight and a true joy to play, with an asymmetrical "V" neck contour that fills the hand nicely without being too obtrusive; a testament to the thought and care that went into the contouring on these early necks. The pickup sounds absolutely amazing, with a subtle, soft vintage clarity that rolls off the high-end in all the right places, delivering a beautiful high-end note blossom.
