The rare and clean 1954, first model Silvertone 1375 has an aluminum reinforced neck, a single pickup, and a solid poplar body covered in Tweed. The design is super minimal and very similar to the Danelectro U-1 with a similar tonal character. It plays smoothly and sounds great with a few modifications, including a replaced head plate and a refinished neck.
