This first-year 1959 Martin D-28E is a rare sight with fewer than 300 produced between '59 and '64. It features a Brazilian Rosewood body and a solid Sitka Spruce top with two '59 Dynasonic PUs mounted straight to the top for a unique sound, Gretsch/Tele-esque in the bridge position, with a richer, almost archtop sound from the neck pickup. It is fun and easy to play with a comfy vintage "V" neck, and it is in excellent overall shape, clean with checking, some dings, and moderate playwear. A truly killer example with tons of vibe! Includes non-original hardshell case.
