1960 Gibson Country Western SJN
The Gibson Country Western is the Natural finished counterpart to the Southern Jumbo, a classic square-shouldered Gibson dreadnaught featuring a Spruce top with Mahogany back and sides, a bound neck, and split parallelogram inlays. This 1960 example is in very good condition showing heavier playwear and dings, along with a repaired back crack and a replaced truss rod cover. It has received all the pertinent updates including a neck reset, a re-glued bridge, and new frets so it is gig-ready and plays effortlessly. This guitar sounds fantastic and delivers a warm tone with a nice clarity and midrange punch with impressive headroom and a lively, dynamic response. This is a killer vintage Gibson acoustic!
