This is a perfectly weathered, faded Cherry 1960 Gibson Les Paul Special updated to play beautifully with a swapped nut and new frets for a great feel. Other modifications include replaced era-correct volume pots, period-correct tuners with remaining holes from a prior set of Grovers, replaced knobs/poker chip/pickguard, and some routing under the pickups. It is super resonant and sounds incredible, providing an impressive range of sounds from the stock P90s, which can cover everything from transparent, chime-y cleans to full-on mid-range bite with an enticing dynamic touch response. This is a killer example from Gibson's Golden era! Includes non-original hardshell case.
