This 1963 Gibson ES-345 came to us from Tom Lavin of the Canadian Blues outfit "The Powder Blues Band" and was used exclusively on their album "Uncut." It is a lovely example in very good shape with checking, dings, worn edges, and a small finish crack in the top adjacent to the bridge volume pot. Overall this semi-hollow workhorse feels great and plays impeccably well with a replaced brass nut and new frets for a fast, even response up and down the neck. The acoustic presence is lively and loud with sweet singing mids which provides an impressive array of tones from the stock PAFs! Beyond the nut and frets, the only modifications are a replaced low-E saddle and three tuner buttons; This is a well-preserved Golden-Era Gibson with Canadian blues provenance. Includes original hardshell case.
