The Martin 0-16 "New Yorker" was introduced during the Folk boom of the early 1960s and features a small 0-sized body with a Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides, and Brazilian Rosewood bridge/fingerboard/headstock cap. This one came to us from the original owner's family and remains in good shape with expected wear for its age. It plays beautifully and delivers a warm, mellow tone with a tight low-end presence and smooth high-end with pleasing harmonics and classic-sounding vintage clarity. An excellent, compact vintage Martin! Includes a chipboard case and the original hangtag.
