An early large headstock Strat! This '66 workhorse features an old Candy Apple Red refin with an authentic look, feel, and vintage wear. It is original except for a 5-way switch, a replaced pickguard (original shielding plate), and a re-fret and a new nut for updated playability. It feels great with a medium-C profile neck "13OCT66B," and it has a prominent, lively resonance for an incredible tone from the original grey bottom PUs which produce a a staple Fender chime with glassy cleans and impressive articulation. This is a killer early CBS-era Stratocaster! Includes original hardshell case.
