1968 Gibson J-50 ADJ

This perfectly worn in J-50 was refinished and comes with a swapped bridge and an added soundhole pickup. It came to us from a former tech of John Prine's who ordered it and installed the pickguard and a Dean Markley soundhole pickup, which was sourced by Alan Hamel specifically for John. We don't have any photos of him playing it, but it's a cool story nonetheless and you can see him playing other guitars with the same pickup. It plays beautifully and sounds great with a tight bass response, subtle high-end projection, and a sweet, singing mid-range character that is always a staple feature of Gibson Dreadnoughts.
