This lovely Walnut 1970 Gibson ES-355 features gold hardware, a bound and inlaid headstock, an Ebony fretboard with block inlay, a Vibrola tailpiece, and a Varitone selector. It came to us wired mono but is otherwise original and in excellent shape for its age with light finish wear, a patina on the gold hardware, and moderate playwear. The feel of this guitar is fabulous, with a comfy medium neck that connects beautifully to the body for a resonant sound for a wide range of tones from the original “Pat #” humbucking pickups with the tone-shaping power of the Varitone for quacky, scooped-out sounds. This is A fantastic, early Norlin-Era ES-355 with tons of vibe! Includes hardshell case.
