1970s Hagstrom Jimmy Archtop
The Hagstrom Jimmy was designed and made in collaboration with Jimmy D'Aquisto as a downsized 16" archtop with a laminated Spruce top, a birch neck/body with two bound F-Holes, two humbuckers, and a commemorative headstock inlay. This elusive first-run 1970s example is in superb condition with few notable blemishes and comes with a set of swapped Lollar Imperials. It feels great with smooth playability and sounds like any proper jazz box should, with a dry, woody sound and a quick note decay. This is a cool piece of Hagstrom history and stands as a well-executed collaboration with one of the most legendary builders in the industry! Purchase includes a gig bag.
