Welcome back to Friends Pick Friday! Today we have not only a very special guest, but a very special guitar as well! A longtime friend of the Jay's going all the way back to the mid-nineties, many of you will know Dan Vickrey as the lead guitarist for Counting Crows! After having begun their 25th Anniversary tour along with the band "Live", Dan just happened to have some free time in Seattle to come down to our shop and check out some guitars - the instrument that particularly caught his eye is a lovely 1931 Martin OM-28 which we have featured in a previous video earlier this year (https://youtu.be/iyN2RXJ0uxI). We decided to break this one up into two parts to be released today, as he and Jay chatted at length in our acoustic room - so this video will be the chat, with some Martin playing coming in the second video!
