Larson Brothers guitars are a rare find, built by Swedish brothers Carl and August Larson in Chicago from the early 1900s through the mid-1940s, and they were only occasionally branded under their name. They’re regarded as some of the most innovative builders of the early flattop era. This Brazilian Rosewood “Maurer” parlor is a standout player with gorgeous harmonic complexity and surprising headroom. It’s in very good shape, showing a couple of crack repairs, worn edges, and an honest patina throughout. A truly special vintage parlor. Includes original chip case.
