A super clean pre-war Martin 000-18! Sounds great with excellent response and fantastic full-range clarity with tight low-end, sweet mids, and crystalline highs. Plays great with a soft V-neck profile and comfortable low action. Modifications include the standard updates with a replaced bridge and saddle, a well-done refret, and of course a neck reset. An excellent example of a vintage Martin. Includes hardshell case.

Check out the feature from our luthier Tyler in the ECG Newsletter:

This spectacular 1941 Martin has spent the last several years in our shop's most exclusive vault: the personal collection of our fearless leader Jay Boone. After decades of handling the world's most coveted guitars, it goes without saying that it takes a special instrument to pique the interest of the ECG crew. This 000 was an immediate sensation, a truly outstanding example of one of Martin's most iconic shapes. The 'prewar' era of American flat tops is more rarified and deified than most any other genre of six-strings, and this '41 is the epitome of the greatness CF Martin exhibited during its most exalted years.

This guitar's spec list is something the modern builder could only dream of replicating. Arrow-straight Brazilian rosewood, old growth Honduran mahogany, tight-grain red spruce, the quality of which is far beyond anything available for the last several decades. The original small maple bridge plate is in perfect shape, the thin scalloped braces are tuned to perfection, and a fresh neck set complete with refret make this as much player as it is a looker. This guitar is the exact reason that prewar replicas and reissues are among the most desired new guitars being produced."
