This 1944 Martin 000-18 is a worn-in, beautifully weathered guitar with all the warmth, responsiveness, and dry, woody character these Golden-Era Martins are known for. It has seen professional repairs over the years, including a refinished top, a couple of re-glued braces, repaired top, back, and side cracks, a plugged hole on the top, a replaced bridge plate, a neck reset, refret, a new nut, and a replaced saddle for playability. The result of the history is a fantastic-playing instrument with excellent projection, rich midrange, and the open, articulate voice that makes wartime Martins so highly regarded.
