1948 Epiphone Triumph [*One Owner!]
This beautiful '48 Epiphone Triumph came to us from the granddaughter of a gentleman named Vince "Blue" Mondi who played this guitar throughout his career as the backup to his D'Angelico. It plays incredibly well with past restoration work by Mike Lull, who dialed it in beautifully to keep it playing for years to come. The tone is dry, woody, and rich with impressive projection and brilliant articulation. Cosmetically, it is in excellent shape with dings, playwear, finish checking, a few binding blemishes, and there is a remaining hole in the pickguard, but it is in great shape and ready for a new home. At some point, the original case was swapped with his D'Angelico, so it comes with his vintage D'Angelico case.
