This 1951 Fender Tele came to us from Andrew DeRoberts, A multi-grammy award-winning producer and musician who obtained it from the original owner. Make sure to check out our YouTube feature to hear the whole story! It was in original condition down to every screw when Andrew purchased it. He wanted more functionality out of it, so he brought it to famed guitar tech Joe Glazer for a refret, nut, and a neck pickup rewind. The original wiring harness was also carefully taken out and stored in the case, and it was updated with a modern harness for more versatility. It comes with the original hardshell case, strap, the original frets, and a 53/54 Tweed Deluxe purchased with the guitar. This is a super rare, holy grail First-year example that Andrew loved and played extensively. If you are an aspiring collector or have a thing for vintage Fenders, you will love this guitar. It is in great shape, plays beautifully, sounds fantastic, and is lightweight and easy to hold. We are fortunate and pleased to find this incredible relic a new home!
