This early 1959 Fender Stratocaster pairs a January ’59 Sunburst body with a January V-profile maple-capped neck that absolutely sings, with an excellent Holger refret providing seamless playability. Perfectly broken in and dialed in for years to come, it remains largely original aside from swapped pots and switch, the aforementioned fretwork, and a small amount of routing in the electronics cavity.
