1960 Gibson Les Paul Special
This vibrant TV Yellow 1960 Gibson Les Paul Special came to us from the second owner, who purchased it from a friend in the early '60s! He loved and played this guitar for many years, so it is perfectly broken in and incredibly resonant. It comes with an updated bridge, one swapped knob, and a replaced jack plate—it is stock otherwise and is in pretty clean shape with checking, worn edges, and expected dings. The frets have enough life left to play cleanly, so we decided to keep the originals and leave an optional re-fret to the next owner. The stock P90s sound incredible with tons of mid-range character, aggressive brightness, and impressive articulation, enough to make vintage LP lovers drool. We love LP Specials here, and this one is most certainly a current shop favorite. Purchase includes a vintage chip case and the original bridge.
