This rare Swedish-made 60s Hagstrom Model 1 is a current shop favorite. It is in excellent shape with a few dings here and there and it plays beautifully. The design is interesting with bolted-on plastic, a super thin and comfortable neck, and unique electronics with a "Mute" dB dip, a tone bypass switch, and on and off for each pickup for a wide range of sounds covering everything from thin and quacky to rich and meaty. The onboard vibrato works perfectly, it shines with chords and single-note playing and it would definitely serve well as an offbeat studio workhorse or a funky rhythm guitar. Includes original hardshell case.
