1965 Gretsch Country Club 6192
A perfectly worn-in 1965 Gretsch Country Club 6192. Like many vintage Gretsch guitars the binding has started to crack and crumble away in places but this archtop is structurally sound and we have secured the problem zones with some glue. Outside of the binding this guitar displays finish checking and wear with some finish touch-ups, dings, and moderate playwear however it plays beautifully with a replaced ABR bridge, new frets, and a replaced nut for an updated feel throughout. This guitar is incredibly resonant and sounds fantastic with a wide palette of sounds from the stock Filtertron pickups which effortlessly capture the sounds of Rockabilly, Classic Country, Jazz, Western Swing, and 60s rock and roll. It is currently set up with flat wounds but we are happy to string it up with round wounds if that is your preference. This is a great example with tons of vibe! Includes original hardshell case.
