1966 Martin D-35
This beautiful first-year D-35 came to us from the original owner. When it arrived it wasn't in the best playing shape, and the top had a cloudy, dirty appearance ~ likely due to the oversprayed lacquer finish. Our technician Karl performed excellent work restoring it, carefully buffing the top, regluing the bridge, and expertly resetting the neck. Now the guitar looks fantastic and plays seamlessly with a full rounded neck contour that feels great. After the restoration, the only cosmetic flaws are a couple of dings here and there and two minor hairline surface cracks on the back that don't go through so we've left it as is for now. Most importantly, this workhorse Dreadnought sounds amazing with a warm and rich sound provided by the solid, wide-grained Spruce top and the gorgeous Brazilian Rosewood body. Includes hardshell case.
