This '71 Gibson Dove came to us from the original owner. It is the perfect Norlin time capsule acoustic: oversized headstock, big ol' Dove pickguard, moustache bridge, and a super vibrant Cherry Sunburst finish. Overall well preserved, with heavier checking, a split in the guard, a missing Dove tail, expected playwear, and a modified bridge/saddle. Playability is excellent, and the tonality is bright and focused from the oversized Maple body, which delivers a strong high-end clarity with tight low-end and sweet mids. A Gibson Staple straight from the original owner, to us, to you! Includes a non-original hardshell case.
