This 1972 Gibson EB-4L bass plays great, with a full/medium C neck and good weight balance, and has a distinct, vocal-like quality. The Bill Lawrence-designed super humbucker pickups in these EB-4Ls are really interesting, with individual coils for each string and a 3-way switch for parallel, series, or a mud cap circuit for a woofy, rounded sound. Cosmetically displays dings and general wear, but this rare and super cool vintage Gibson long-scale bass is in great overall shape. Includes original chipcase.
