1993 Gibson Custom Shop Montana Special Advanced Jumbo
A rare, limited edition Advanced Jumbo built as part of Gibson’s “Guitar of the Month” for October 1993! This guitar is number 33 of only 36 instruments produced. It features a classic slope-shoulder dreadnought body with a Spruce top, Maple back and sides, Maple neck, bound Rosewood fretboard with AJ-style fretboard inlays, and abalone top binding. It has swapped Grover tuners and remains in very good condition for its age showing minor signs of use with dings, scuffing, and heavier finish checking on the top. It plays well sporting a pre-war style vintage V-shaped neck profile and sounds great producing a big punchy tone with lots of clarity, a controlled low end, and a piano-like presence from the Maple back and sides. This is a gorgeous, deluxe version of the iconic Advanced Jumbo! Includes original hardshell case. Includes original tuners.
