1998 Gibson Chet Atkins Tennessean
1998 Gibson Chet Atkins Tennessean
The Gretsch Tennessean was made from 1990-2005 as a Chet Atkins/Gibson Collaborative design with a Gretsch-style control layout, stunning Sunrise Orange Gloss finish, a 3-piece Maple neck with an Ebony board, and a semi-hollow Maple body with a Chromyte Center block to help reduce feedback. This guitar looks very Gretsch but sounds very Gibson with a loud and warm acoustic response producing a super rich mid-range response and tons of sustain for a super resonant sound with a pair of Gibson Humbuckers delivering a nice palette of sounds. This '98 example is well-preserved and in very good shape with minor evidence of handling/play with a couple of heavier dings on the neck. A highly collectible Chet Atkins Gibson collab! Includes hardshell case.
