The D-42 is an ornate, high-end dreadnought that features a solid Spruce top with Rosewood back and sides, with abalone inlay and top trim. This 2001 example is in very good condition a few dings, light top checking, and some scratches with honest pick wear above the guard. Tonally, it’s everything you’d hope for, rich and full on the low end, warm through the mids, and the highs are crystal-clear and almost piano-like. It’s also been fitted with an undersaddle pickup and an endpin jack so it is dialed and ready for the stage! Includes original hardshell case.
