2019 Martin D-28 Authentic 1937. The D-28 Authentic 1937 is a time machine to the golden era of Martin dreadnoughts! This guitar is built in the old tradition of this particular era of pre-war guitars with an Adirondack Spruce top, Rosewood back and sides, hide glue construction, and forward-shifted scalloped x-bracing. The neck is a full soft V-shaped profile and it plays beautifully. It is in fantastic condition with minimal evidence of handling and play and it sounds fantastic producing a huge sound with a warm focused low end, woody mids, and a brilliant top end. This is an excellent tribute to the iconic pre-war Martins! Includes original hardshell case.
