This lightly handled 2002 Pedula Thunderbass is an impeccably crafted instrument featuring neck-through construction, a figured maple top over a mahogany body, a fast maple neck with an ebony fingerboard, and Pedulla's proprietary Bartolini electronics with the Thunderguts switch for even more tonal range. This bass delivers a super-articulate, piano-like tone with a huge low-end response, and the playability is effortless thanks to the slim neck profile, which offers excellent upper-fret access. Since Pedulla ceased production in 2019, these American-made basses have become increasingly sought after, and it's easy to understand why the Thunderbass remains one of the finest boutique basses ever built.
