This is a one-of-a-kind creation that came to us from Eric Daw!

From Eric:

"This is a custom-built "Jimmy Page" model 3021 DC-2 Danelectro. This is an amalgam of vintage, custom, and modern parts. It sports a 1959 Danelectro-made Silvertone neck with original frets, finish, logo, and nut. The tuners are "Golden Age Restoration" tuners from Stewart Macdonald, 6-on-plate design and 15:1 open gears. The body is an early reissue body from the 90's, masonite on a wood frame just like the orignals from the 50's and 60's. The body was refinished to give it the proper look, instead of the shiny poly finish that the reissues had, this has been finished in aged black nitrocellulose lacquer, and has some lovely, subtle finish checking and some nicks and dings. The pickups are Nep-Tone modern custom-made pickups by Doug Tulloch. The pickguard is a repro. The bridge is vintage, as is the Brazilian Rosewood bridge saddle insert. The knobs are vintage, as are the pots. The switch and jack are modern and high-quality. This is a great playing and great sounding guitar with all of the vibe and tone of a vintage Danelectro. This is a high-quality guitar. Obviously, this guitar did not leave the factory this way; it has been custom assembled out of parts, but don't let that deter you. This was built to be a great guitar with great parts. The edge wrap is vintage vinyl, and looks right. It has a case, but the case has some water damage and some duct tape on the bottom. There are some filled holes under the finish behind the neck where the modern neck mounting holes would have been. It doesn't detract from the guitar in my opinion. This has been my personal guitar for a few years now, and I hate to see it go, but I need to thin the herd."
