1967 Marshall JMP Model 1959 100-Watt Super Lead Plexi

1967 Marshall JMP Model 1959 Super Lead 100 Plexi. These golden-era Marshall Plexi’s were the amps behind many of the legendary Rock tones of the ’60s and ’70s! This early example is in very good condition showing only minor cosmetic wear from age with some faint markings on the back from a prior owner. Functions perfectly with the original circuit intact other than a few replaced filter caps with other modifications including an added IEC port and an added bias pot with replaced panel screws and chassis bolts. This amp produces a huge sound delivering authentic vintage British tones with a warm, creamy saturation, musical compression, and fantastic dynamics.
